Reading to Me

Reading to me is really boring and exhausting. Though sometimes I do fine things that I read to be really interesting. Just thinking about reading seems really boring. I think it also all depends on what I have to read. For example, when " I have to read"  I find my self thinking if I should read or not, and If i do read I read without knowing what im reading since my mind is set to think that this will be very boring. The things that I do find interesting in reading is mostly things that I don't know yet like in science or things in history. I do agree that when people read a lot, it helps in understanding more things about life or just things in general and increases the amount of things they know.

Im Late but I'M HERE

Everyday I think about my  performance in every class, and so when I don't do assignments I obviously think on what the consequences are going to be. My performance in this course goes on and off. There are times were I try my best to do the work given to me and there are these times were I'm just really unmotivated to do anything. I want to succeed but I cant succeed when I'm not motivated to do my work. But I guess you can say I'm here in class just not participating in it sometimes.

Chapter 6 of Catcher in the Rye

In this chapter Holden talks about when Stradlater got back from his date with Jane. Once Stradlater gets back Holden wants to know what he did with Jane but didnt want to ask him. The reason why Holden wants to ask Stradlater is because he likes Jane. At one point in the chapter Stradlater hits Holden because he kept teasing him about his date and kept calling him a moron.

ALL THAT DAVID COPPERFIELD KIND OF CRAP

Summary of Catcher in the Rye Chapters 1 and 2: In chapter 1 Holden Caulfield is seen more as a closed person, who refuses to speak about his earlier life. He only mentions his brother, a Hollywood writer. He later goes on to tell the reader in Chapter 2 about the way his School is and how he feels about it. From these two chapters the reader learns a bit more about the type of person that Caulfield is.

First Impression of Catcher in the Rye

My first impression of Catcher in the Rye was that the author made this book a bit as an autobiography or a journal. In the first few pages he explains in a way about what the book was going to be about. He also starts by telling the reader about how his life was.

MUSIC AS LITERATURE

There is no doubt that music is a form of literature. Literature is "writings in which expression and form, in connection with ideas of permanent and universal interest.." Music also happens to have the characteristics of literature. This is not a coincidence, it is proof that music is literature. For example there's really no difference between a novel, a poem, a rap, a song, an opera, and a symphony they all are a type of literature.

Poem

Working Together

We shape our self
to fit this world

and by the world
are shaped again.

The visible
and the invisible

working together
in common cause,

to produce
the miraculous.

I am thinking of the way,
the intangible air

passed at speed
round a shaped wing

easily
holds our weight.

So may we, in this life
trust

to those elements
we have yet to see

or imagine,
and look for the true

shape of our own self
by forming it well

to the great
intangibles about us.
